First-Time DUI Offender Gets Into ARD, Reduced Outcome

Our criminal defense and DUI attorneys often see DUI charges come into their office and have a wide range of experience handling these types of cases. More recently a 23-year-old Pittsburgh woman was out drinking with friends when she got charged with her first DUI offense. Regardless of her being a first-time DUI offender, she was still looking at a minimum of 72 hours to six months in jail with a one-year license suspension.

Worried about a DUI on her record from a professional standpoint, the pharmaceutical sales rep took her concerns directly to Worgul, Sarna & Ness, Criminal Defense Attorneys, LLC. Attorney Mike Worgul looked into her case and saw an opportunity to get her into ARD. She completed the program with only six months of probation and a 60-day license suspension. As a first time DUI offender, this was a good outcome for our client.

The outcome of an individual case depends on a variety of factors unique to that case. Case results do not guarantee or predict a similar result in any similar or future case.
