Case Withdrawn For Woman Unknowingly Driving Under Suspended License

A 27-year-old woman from the Beaver area came to our office with a unique circumstance. The woman was a local taxi driver and was recently pulled over. Unbeknownst to her, the officer informed her that she was driving with a suspended license as a result of not answering to three old traffic tickets.

Beaver criminal defense attorney Matthew Ness represented the woman. A deeper look into her case revealed that two of the three tickets had passed the statute of limitations. Ready to fight the past tickets, attorney Ness went to court and made a strong argument that she could not legally be required to pay. The judge quickly withdrew the entire case against her. Between the three tickets, our client was spared a two-year suspension. Our client can legally continue to drive her taxi.

The outcome of an individual case depends on a variety of factors unique to that case. Case results do not guarantee or predict a similar result in any similar or future case.
