Man With Third DUI Avoids Jail Time

A 27-year-old man from Westmoreland County contacted Worgul, Sarna & Ness, Criminal Defense Attorneys, LLC after he had his third DUI in 10 years. Greensburg criminal defense attorney Samir Sarna negotiated to have it count as only a second DUI. A second DUI results in a 90 day sentence and a third results in a maximum of a one year sentence. The judge sentenced our client to 18 months of house arrest with electronic monitoring and 42 months of probation. Our client avoided jail and he was able to continue to work and stay at home with his family. The case was in Allegheny county.
