Mercer County Man Facing Felony Theft Charge, Cleared In Motorcycle Theft Case

A 36-year-old Mercer County man recently requested the legal services of Worgul, Sarna & Ness, Criminal Defense Attorneys, LLC. The man was accused of entering into an agreement to buy a motorcycle and not paying the full amount. Consequently, the man was charged with theft by deception and theft by unlawful taking. The man was unemployed and had some limited criminal history on his background. A client of our firm, he was looking to keep a felony theft charge off of his record.

Pittsburgh criminal defense attorney Matthew Ness advocated on behalf of his client. Ness, being quite skilled in negotiating, was able to amend the situation behind the scenes with the victim. After intense rounds of negotiating and once the victim received the outstanding balance, the case was withdrawn and our client was not convicted as a felon under these charges.

The outcome of an individual case depends on a variety of factors unique to that case. Case results do not guarantee or predict a similar result in any similar or future case.
