Woman Driving Without Insurance, Case Dismissed

A 22-year-old Pittsburgh woman was driving without insurance and a valid registration when she hit a vehicle from behind and drove away. She was a recent college graduate now working in sales. The driver of the damaged car followed her and called 911. Moments later, police pulled the woman over and the driver of the other car gave a statement against her. Our client had just moved from out-of-state and was driving without insurance and registration to this point.

Pittsburgh criminal defense attorney Samir Sarna postponed the case from April until July. This was enough time to allow our client to register her car properly and get insurance in Pennsylvania. The insurance companies also had ample time to straighten the situation out in regards to the damage of the other vehicle. Both parties were satisfied. When the case went to court in July, it was dismissed.

The outcome of an individual case depends on a variety of factors unique to that case. Case results do not guarantee or predict a similar result in any similar or future case.
